Going back to Montana
My family is driving to Montana tomorrow. Back to Big Sky, back to MSU Bobcats, back to where I lived, back home. It's funny that I still think of myself as a Montanian (as well as a Minnesotian), even after five years. Montana is where I grew up (physically not emotionally. I am still working on the emotion part) and I am excited to go back and see if this is where God wants to take my family. If it's not then I have peace that God will continue to direct us. If it is I will be excited to return to Bozeman and be near my family again. This would also be an opportunity to develop as a Pastor and to start building relationships in the community of the church. Whatever happens, I am excited to be going back to Montana. Hopefully my family will agree with me after a fifteen hour car ride.

Worship in the Downpour
Rain caresses my uplifted hands
I close my eyes and dream
My tears mix with the downpour
I lower my head and let the water pour over my heart
My hands lift higher
On my knees
On my face
I pray, it’s all I can do
I surrender to your glory
The rain soaks me
I am quiet in the roar of your silence
The rain of your Spirit is a beautiful touch
It is a downpour of whispering prayers
I stand and raise my hands again
The rain still falls
Always on a hungry heart
Always in your children
My tears
They are the only words that I can say
They are the only expression of my joy
My peace
My love for your grace
I cry with every touch of you
I weep
My heart soaks in the rain
In the downpour
I worship in the flow
My heart explodes with the overflow of mercy
My hands are lifted
My heart is filled
The rain is falling
I am dancing
I am yours
Jesus be my downpour
I close my eyes and dream
My tears mix with the downpour
I lower my head and let the water pour over my heart
My hands lift higher
On my knees
On my face
I pray, it’s all I can do
I surrender to your glory
The rain soaks me
I am quiet in the roar of your silence
The rain of your Spirit is a beautiful touch
It is a downpour of whispering prayers
I stand and raise my hands again
The rain still falls
Always on a hungry heart
Always in your children
My tears
They are the only words that I can say
They are the only expression of my joy
My peace
My love for your grace
I cry with every touch of you
I weep
My heart soaks in the rain
In the downpour
I worship in the flow
My heart explodes with the overflow of mercy
My hands are lifted
My heart is filled
The rain is falling
I am dancing
I am yours
Jesus be my downpour
