Vacation

We got back from vacation over the weekend and I am already wishing that I had more time to rest. We stayed at "Daisy Bay Resort" on Lake Vermillion and the owners, Taren and Jim, were amazing hosts and I would go back in a heartbeat. We spent the week fishing (northerns and walleyes, it was really slow going), playing on the beach, swimming, playing cards, mini golf, and sleeping. This is what vacation is all about- doing all the nothing you want to do and forsake the somethings that you need to do. It's funny, but I do feel like this vacation was actually relaxing because we didn't have to travel that much and we just stayed put for a whole week. Life did come crashing back in a flurry of reality as we got home, but I think that after the first eight months of this year we needed to relax. So now vacation is over and life moves on... until next year.

I am Tingling with Excitement!

Holy Crap, football is back! Hey, that rhymes! This year my beloved Cowboys are going to take the whole ball o'wax. I feel way more spiritual on Sundays when I can enjoy church and then come home to watch football (this is why God made football to be played on Sundays). Yes, life is great.
